How to create a plate layout.

Go to the menu item "laboratory flask" and click on "Plate Layout" as shown in Fig. 01 and proceed to click on "Create" as depicted in Fig. 02.





Specify the capacity of the plate layout as well as its amount of columns. Make sure that the capacity is divisible by amount of columns without a remainder, e.g., 64 capacity divided by 8 columns.



By pressing on save, you are redirected to the platelayout/details screen, where you may later edit or delete the plate layout.
The amount of rows is calculated by dividing the capacity by the amount of columns.
